Ein Trail-Race von 246km Länge, cutoff nach 60h. Das Ganze im hellen August des Nordens: 6-8 August 2010
The route is 246 km and very scenic. After running through the city of Malmö to the ocean, Öresund, you'll pass hills and meadows, ponds and embankments. You'll run through fields and woods on your way to the other side of the country - Östersjön. Here you'll turn around and run back to Malmö again. It is not orienteering and ~95 % follows a marked route, Skåneleden; the first kilometres is easy city navigation. The first 100 km is run in daylight and after 126 km you'll turn around and run the same way back - therefore you should not have problems finding your way once tiredness sets in.

- Kulturrun 2010 - Es bleibt alles anders!
Hallo liebe Ultrafreunde,
bereits im letzten Jahr habe ich euch über unseren Lauf informiert. Im Anhang die aktuellsten Informationen.
Wir würden uns freuen wieder einige Ultras zu begrüßen, die einfach ein paar Runden bei uns drehen möchten, Spaß haben wollen und was für den guten Zweck tun wollen.
Gerne auch wieder Rent-a-Runner.
Dieses Jahr starten wir bereits am Freitagabend um 21:00 mit dem Lauf und am Samstag zum Ende des Laufs gibt es eine große After-Run-Party für Euch.
Kleines Schmankerl: Ultraläufer können Freitag und Samstag Nacht kostenfrei im Hostel übernachten. Es steht dem Feiern am Ende des Laufs also nichts entgegen und ich freu mich schon auf euch.

When you follow the daily stages of the run you probably have noticed that its been a bit of a tough run (and survival ! ;-) through the 7000 to 8000km of the remote parts of East Africa, after a fairly easy run through Europe and the Middle East.
When meticoulously going over the details w. my main sponsor Ecco, they have been very generous to allow me a substantial rest after running into Cape Town ! And a chance to catch up w. family & friends - most I havent seen in 20months since the start above the Polar Circle in Norway; I look Much forward to meeting again :-)
The specific details is still to be worked out, but I am certain its a wise decition to get the tropical deseases out of the body & fully recover physically fromthe 21 000km at the tip of Africa before taking on South America:
- It is good, depending that I maneage to run the last 800km to Cape Town, to becomethe first person to complete a run straight across the African continent (as I became the first to run across Siberia in wr1, though the great russian runners Basof & Kaleznikow came close decades earlier !). But its nice also to make sure to survive to tell or write the story.. And its my feeling that the body......Mehr
